⚠ THE TRAP TO AVOID

Why not a Viator or GetYourGuide bus wine tour.

When you type "Saint-Émilion wine tour" from London or New York, these names show up first on Google. They are marketplaces, not operators. Here is what they don't tell you.

25–40 %

Hidden commission

You pay the platform margin. On €89/person, the local tour operator gets €55-65. The difference goes to Viator. No added value for you.

50

Bus of 50 strangers

A 30 to 50-seat coach, two pre-arranged châteaux (the only ones able to host a coach), 45 minutes max per visit, a guide speaking through a microphone to 50 people.

0

Zero flexibility

You don't choose the châteaux. No photo stop at the ramparts, no coffee in Libourne, no extension to Pomerol. Someone's late at 2 pm? Everyone waits.

The alternative is simple:book direct. You save the commission, you know in advance who is coming, you talk with the driver via WhatsApp before the day. Cheaper and better — questions? See the FAQ or contact us.

Three châteaux, a perfect Sunday

Adrien took us to 3 châteaux we would never have found on our own. Small confidential estates, welcomed by the owners themselves, tastings without pressure. Everything confirmed by WhatsApp beforehand. An unforgettable day.

Pomerol + Saint-Émilion in one day

Our driver knew the best estates of both appellations by heart. Panoramic lunch at La Terrasse Rouge booked for us, drive back with 18 bottles in the boot, no driving needed. The luxury.

Harvest as a family

Booked in September to see the harvest. Adrien tracked down three estates that allowed visits during fermentation. Our daughter loved the smell of the must. Memory for life.

Frequently asked questions.

Everything travelers ask before booking.

How much is a transfer from Bordeaux Airport (BOD) to the city centre?

For a one-way transfer: from €90 in eco, €100 in Mercedes E-Class, €110 in van and €130 in Mercedes V-Class van. For a vineyard day with dedicated driver (hire-by-the-hour, 4h minimum): from €220 (4h eco), €330 (6h eco), €440 (8h eco). All fixed prices guaranteed at booking.

Is it cheaper than a taxi?

40 to 45 minutes outside traffic. In high season or on a harvest Sunday, allow 1h to 1h15. The distance is 40 km via the D1089. A one-way transfer costs from €90 fixed price.

Do you speak English?

Yes, our drivers speak fluent English — it's essential for Saint-Émilion which attracts huge numbers of international visitors (British, American, Irish, Australian). Communication via WhatsApp before the trip and easy conversations about the châteaux during the day.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

Yes, that's precisely the point of the service. In half-day (6h) and full-day (8h) packages, waiting time is included. The driver stays nearby the château, you taste freely, no clock-watching, no forced pacing.

Can I pay in cash, or do I need a card?

Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), cash, bank transfer, sometimes Apple Pay. You can pay online via Stripe at the time of booking, or directly to the driver at the end of the day. Detailed receipt sent automatically by email.

What if I need a child seat or extra luggage space?

Saint-Émilion + Pomerol or Saint-Émilion + Fronsac: yes, no problem, these are neighboring appellations. Saint-Émilion + Médoc on the same day: possible but ambitious, you'll spend more time in the car than tasting. Better to dedicate one day to each bank.
