How does the process work, from the quote to the confirmation?

How do I book an executive car service in Bordeaux?

Four channels available: (1) the online booking module on the website with instant pricing, (2) by phone at +33 7 57 59 89 00, (3) email to contact@vtc-bordeaux-chauffeur.fr, (4) WhatsApp. Please provide your pickup location, destination, date, time, number of passengers, and amount of luggage. The system calculates the price instantly. For text messages, WhatsApp, or email: you’ll receive written confirmation within 30 minutes with a final, fixed rate. We make every effort to accept bookings from two hours before departure; booking at least 24 hours ahead gives the best chance of securing your preferred vehicle. For long-distance trips not departing from Bordeaux: full payment is due 12 hours in advance.

How far in advance should I make a reservation?

There is no minimum legal time limit, but we recommend 24 hours in advance to ensure the availability of the vehicle of your choice (Eco, Sedan, Eco Van, or Mercedes Van). We do our best to accommodate requests starting 2 hours before departure depending on the availability of our network of partner drivers. During peak season (July–August, grape harvest in September–October, Vinexpo): booking 48–72 hours in advance is strongly recommended. For long-distance transfers (Biarritz, San Sebastián, Toulouse, Paris) and wine tours: a minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required. Service available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays. For urgent requests: call Adrien directly at +33 7 57 59 89 00.

Are you available 24/7?

Yes, all year round — nights, weekends and public holidays included. The online booking module works at any hour and returns an instant price; for a departure during the night itself, the phone line on +33 7 57 59 89 00 is the fastest channel. The fare for your time slot, night rate included, is quoted and agreed in writing before departure: no surcharge can appear on arrival. The vehicle of your choice is guaranteed from 24 hours' notice; below that, we take requests from 2 hours before departure depending on the availability of our network of partner drivers.

How do I change or cancel my reservation?

Changes or cancellations by phone or email. Cancellation Policy: cancellation is free up to 12 hours before departure. Between 12:00 p.m. and departure: 15 % of the total amount. If the driver has already left: 50 %. No-show (you are not present at the agreed-upon time): 50 %. Special Case: Force Majeure: If your flight or train is canceled by the airline or rail company, full refund (€0 penalty). Changes to the date, time, or address are accepted at no charge up to 12 p.m. prior to the pickup, subject to availability within the network of partner drivers. After that time: such changes will be treated as a partial cancellation depending on the notice period.

How will I receive my confirmation?

As soon as your reservation is confirmed: automatic confirmation email summarizing all the details—pickup time and location, destination, vehicle class, fixed rate guaranteed in writing, and a secure payment link if selected. For airport transfers: we’ll ask for your flight number to enable real-time tracking. For train station transfers: your train number. On the day of your appointment, 30 minutes before your pickup time: Automatic text message: "Your driver is on the way" + real-time tracking link (vehicle GPS location). If you do not receive the email within 30 minutes of making your reservation, please check your spam folder or call +33 7 57 59 89 00.

Can I make a reservation for someone else?

Yes, no problem. Common scenarios include: a VIP client traveling, an employee on a business trip, a guest of honor, an elderly relative, a speaker at a seminar, or a wedding guest. When making your reservation, please specify the name and phone number of the person to be picked up. The driver will contact them directly to confirm the meeting point and will be there to greet them upon her arrival. Personalized Sign Option (Meet & Greet): +€15 for a meet-and-greet service at the airport or train station with a sign bearing the traveler’s name (ideal for international travelers, unaccompanied minors, and VIPs). The invoice can be issued in the name of the requesting company using your internal reference (purchase order, assignment code, or cost center code).

Can the initial rate be recalculated along the way?

Yes, in certain specific cases: significant delays on the client's end, additional stop to a different address, an extended trip, or an unplanned wait (beyond the 40 minutes allowed at the airport or 15 minutes at the train station). Any surcharge is announced by the driver at the time of the transfer, never afterward. No hidden fees. For delays beyond your control (delayed flight, delayed train): automatic driver tracking, 40-minute airport wait time included, 15 minutes of free parking, no penalty. For wine tours and full-day rentals: if an extension is requested on site, the hourly rate for the reserved category will apply, as announced in advance.

Driver

Who are the drivers, and how do we ensure quality?

Do the drivers speak English?

Yes — All our drivers, including the founder, have sufficient English to communicate with customers in the UK, US, Ireland, Australia, and Canada: address, hours, instructions, landmarks. Not interpreter-level bilingualism, but just what’s needed to ensure a smooth ride — "Where are we going, what time, what luggage, which hotel, which terminal?". Reservations via email or WhatsApp can be made in French or English—emails will be replied to in the customer’s language. This is particularly useful for transfers from Bordeaux-Mérignac, wine tours in the Médoc or Saint-Émilion, and business trips with international clients. This linguistic flexibility is standard; it is never a premium option billed separately.

How do you ensure punctuality?

Punctuality is our top priority. How do we ensure it in practice? Real-time tracking of your flight (Flightradar24) or train (SNCF Connect)—the driver automatically adjusts the arrival time in case of delays or early arrivals; you don’t have to do anything. Early departure with a built-in safety margin based on real-time traffic conditions along the route (A630 bypass, airport access, and the drive through Bordeaux). 30 minutes before your pickup time: Automatic text message saying “Your driver is on the way” with Live GPS tracking link. In-depth local knowledge of Bordeaux’s main routes, areas with recurring roadwork, and alternate routes in case of traffic jams. Google Rating 5.0 / 5 out of 41 reviews reflects this rigor.

The service now relies on a network of partner drivers selected by Adrien — not a list of anonymous service providers: drivers he knows, with whom he’s driven, and whom he calls when he knows the trip will suit them. Some are better for long distances, others for wine-tasting tours. All hold a valid professional driver’s license issued by the Prefecture, professional liability cover with Pacifica (Crédit Agricole). Adrien's professional driver's license: #03322012101, issued by the Gironde Prefecture in 2022.

What is the difference between a executive car service and a taxi in Bordeaux?

The price for a private chauffeur is set at the provider’s discretion and provided in writing before the trip. The price of a taxi depends on the route, the time of day, and traffic conditions. How can I verify the validity of a professional driver's license?

To obtain it, one must pass a written exam (regulations, traffic safety, English), a driving test, and undergo a mandatory medical examination. Without this license, providing a paid chauffeured transport is illegal in France. All partner drivers working with VTC Bordeaux hold a valid professional driver’s license. Pacifica professional liability insurance is required to operate.

Are you licensed and insured to carry passengers?

Yes, and all of it can be checked. The service is operated by VTCBORDEAUX (SAS), company number (SIREN) 924 992 605, registered with the Bordeaux commercial court and listed on the French national register of private hire operators held by the Ministry of Transport. Under article L. 3120-4 of the French Transport Code, the company holds professional liability insurance with Pacifica (Crédit Agricole Assurances group), which covers the carriage of your passengers. Adrien Moreno holds professional driver's licence #03322012101, issued by the Gironde Prefecture and verifiable free of charge online, and every partner driver holds a valid licence. Without a licence and insurance, carrying passengers for payment is illegal in France.

Yes. Wedding transportation services in Gironde and throughout the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, for both the bride and groom and their guests. Services: Transportation for the bride and groom between the ceremony venue and the reception hall (Mercedes sedan or van — Optional vehicle decoration reserves the vehicle and driver before and throughout the event: to be included in the estimate), guest shuttle from hotels in Bordeaux to the estate or château where the reception is being held (useful for international guests), airport transfer for guests arriving from abroad. For wine châteaux in the Médoc, Saint-Émilion, and Sauternes regions: Contact us at least 2–3 months before the date to book available partner drivers. Customized quotes based on rental duration, number of vehicles, distances, and decorations. Contact: contact@vtc-bordeaux-chauffeur.fr.

Can I book a private chauffeur for an evening or a nighttime event?

Yes — service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including at night, on weekends, and on holidays. Especially useful for evenings when you don't want to drive (for safety reasons, due to alcohol consumption, or because you're tired). Common Cases: Night out on the town (pickup from home/hotel → restaurant/club → return at a flexible time late at night); professional events (gala dinners, seminar events, award ceremonies—the driver waits on site or returns at the agreed-upon time); concerts and shows (Grand Théâtre, Arkéa Arena, Zénith de Bordeaux — round-trip transportation with no parking hassles). Overnight Rate (7 p.m.–6 a.m.) included in the quote provided at the time of booking, fixed and disclosed in advance—no surprises at the end of the evening.

Do you have a service dedicated to businesses and seminars?

Yes. The Bordeaux chauffeured transfer regularly provides transportation for local businesses and companies visiting the Gironde region. Business Services: Airport/train station transfers for employees and clients traveling on business; daily service for executives with busy schedules; transportation of foreign delegations (English-speaking drivers, pick-up starting in Mérignac); shuttle services for seminars and events (châteaux in the Médoc, Arcachon, Sauternes).
