And renting a car for the entire duration of a stay—when you can reach the beach on foot or by bike once you’re there—is expensive. With an executive car service, you’re picked up in Bordeaux (airport, Saint-Jean train station, or hotel) and driven directly to the campground entrance, with all your luggage, in a single trip (about 56 minutes). When is the best time to stay at Camping La Grigne?
The Côte d'Argent is best enjoyed from May through September. Spring (May–June) and fall (September–October) offer mild weather and tranquility: cool pine forests, nearly deserted beaches, lower prices, and great surfing conditions.
